Pinpoint Canine Certifications
 
PCD provides a certification for two primary roles in bed bug detection. These certifications reflect the expertise needed in order to effectively execute bed bug detection work.
 
Our certified teams can be verified upon request and require annual renewal to validate best in industry capability in both the inspectors as well as the detection teams.
 
PCD certifications incorporate military working dog guidelines as well as Drug Enforcement Agency detection certification standards. We test in 3 random in-field locations that reflect real working environments. The certification is administered by our Master Trainer or Certified Tester-Observer.
 
PCD strongly believes in providing and maintaining high standards for both our own staff as well as our certified professionals. Our certified handler and inspection professionals are urged to recertify annually to ensure that they continue to provide highly accurate results for their clients.
 
Our certification process:
  1. PCD conducts a preliminary evaluation of both dog and handler.
  2. A date and city are scheduled for real-world test.
  3. Exams are reviewed by Master Trainer or Certified Tester-Observer.
  4. Recertification after first year.
 
 

PCCI - Pinpoint Canine Certified Inspector

 

PCD provides a certification program for the very necessary role of the physical inspector. This role is crucial in protecting and supporting the dog-handler detection. teams

PCCT - Pinpoint Canine Certified Team

 

PCD provides a certification program that ensures proper handling and professional conduct as it relates to scent detection for bed bugs and the likely work environments encounted in the field.

PCFI - Pinpoint Canine Forensic Inspector

 

PCD provides a certification program for those that want to prove their ability to acquire, maintain, and testify to evidence related to bed bug inspections.
